Description

Delas Le Clos is a pure Syrah Crozes-Hermitage associated with Clos Saint-George. Built in 1857, the historic property encloses a landscaped park, fruit trees and 2.5 hectares of vineyard within its walls. The vines stand on deep alluvial terraces where clay and rounded pebbles define the soils. The producer introduces a dense yet measured red, bringing strength together with finesse. Maturation, partly in new barrels, supports that approach while preserving an energetic character and a structure intended to develop over time, firmly rooted in this enclosed vineyard.
