Description

Delas Frères' François de Tournon is a Saint-Joseph Syrah from parcels in the southern part of the appellation, around its historical villages. The vines occupy steep granite slopes overlooking the Rhône. The underlying rock belongs to the same ancient massif as the Hermitage hill, now separated by the river. The cuvée has a deep, structured character while also seeking finesse and lift. Aromatic complexity accompanies a balance between power and precision. It is a red intended to develop over time, with its granite origin remaining a central point of reference.
