Description

Amour de Deutz 2013 is a Blanc de Blancs bringing together Chardonnay from Avize, Oger, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Vertus, Villers-Marmery and Trépail. Its name refers to the angel statue in the house’s courtyard, while the cuvée is one of its prestige interpretations. The 2013 harvest arrived late after a long winter and slower ripening towards the end of the season. The importer’s technical sheet describes baked apple, yellow fruit and delicate white flowers. A soft, creamy palate retains freshness, with fine bubbles and savoury notes supporting the wine’s balance and texture.
