Description
William Deutz is the prestige cuvée dedicated to the founder of the house in Aÿ. The 2006 interpretation is led by Pinot Noir alongside Chardonnay and Meunier, bringing together origins in the Montagne de Reims and other crus selected for their complementary characters. Base wines are made without wood, leaving extended maturation on lees to develop complexity and integration. Grape selection was particularly important in this harvest. The importer now describes a broad, elegant profile with yellow fruit, mirabelle plum, dried fruit and delicate spices, framed by the structure provided by Pinot Noir.
