Description
The 2023 Alto Alberche from Dexaïe is a red made from high-altitude Garnacha grown on the slopes of the Sierra de Gredos in the Alto Alberche area (Ávila). Fruit comes from old vines on granite soils and is handled with low-intervention techniques, including spontaneous fermentations and a substantial proportion of whole clusters. The wine is aged in concrete and used oak, showing red-fruit and floral aromas alongside herbal and mineral notes, with fine tannins and lively acidity.
