Description

Silex takes its name from the flint of Saint-Andelain's vineyards, a central reference point for Domaine Didier Dagueneau. This Sauvignon Blanc comes from clay-and-flint soils and an approach that places origin at the centre of the wine. Careful vineyard work, restricted yields and lees ageing are accompanied by barrels selected for their shape, size and toast. Wood is used to develop texture and guide the evolution of the wine's substance. This cuvée is conceived to reveal depth, precision and the capacity to develop further with patient time in bottle.
