Description

Pur Sang is one of the Sauvignon Blanc interpretations through which Domaine Didier Dagueneau explores the Pouilly area. The cuvée comes mainly from the La Folie sector, north of Saint-Andelain, with possible contributions from other small parcels. Grape selection and barrel vinification form part of meticulous work on ripeness and the wine's texture. Barrels of different shapes and sizes accompany maturation. The importer's description emphasises richness, power and complexity, with a substantial texture that brings depth to Sauvignon Blanc and reflects the estate's attention to the character of its individual vineyard sources.
