Description

Vigna di Sessina is Dievole’s Gran Selezione Chianti Classico DOCG, made from grapes harvested in the namesake single vineyard. Produced from 100% Sangiovese grown at about 420 m altitude, it is aged roughly 24 months in large French oak barrels and spends a minimum of 12 months in bottle. On the glass it shows a ruby hue with aromas of small red fruit, black pepper, tobacco and floral hints; the palate is marked by elegant tannins and a smooth, balanced texture.
