Description

Dirupi’s Valtellina Superiore Riserva Grumello “Vigna Dossi Salati” 2021 is a red wine made from 100% Nebbiolo (locally called Chiavennasca) from the Dossi Salati vineyard in the Grumello cru. It displays aromas of ripe red fruit with hints of alpine herbs, leather and subtle spice. The wine undergoes extended maceration and is aged 24 months in neutral French oak barrels, which provides structure and integrated tannins. Concentrated yet balanced, it pairs well with red meat and hearty regional dishes.
