Alvina Pernot's Puligny-Montrachet Peux-Bois 2022 comes from a subdivision of Les Folatières, between Ez Folatières and En la Richarde, with woodland above and below the vineyard. This Chardonnay has an open, expressive personality, placing fruit at the forefront while retaining tension and freshness. The palate pursues balance and approachability within the precise interpretation of Puligny developed by Alvina and Philippe Abadie. Maturation includes a proportion of new oak. The cuvée explores a less familiar section of this Premier Cru, giving it a distinct voice within the producer's detailed examination of the Folatières hillside.
