Description

Échézeaux Les Loachausses Grand Cru is a red wine based on Pinot Noir from the Les Loachausses climat in Flagey‑Échezeaux, in the Côte de Nuits. Vines grown on deep, stony brown soils give the wine ripe red-fruit aromas, floral hints and subtle spice. Maturation takes place in oak barrels with roughly 30% new wood, which contributes structure while softening the tannins. This Grand Cru shows solid aging potential.
