Description

Anne Gros's Richebourg Grand Cru comes from Les Verroilles, an east-facing parcel that entered the family's holdings in 1882. Brown soil is rich in limestone stones, and a dry-stone wall separates sections planted at different times. Pinot Noir produces a wine that combines power and elegance, with silky tannins and a mineral dimension supporting its energy. The bouquet can bring together flowers, raspberry, blackcurrant and spices. Barrel maturation accompanies the complexity and depth of this Vosne-Romanée expression, allowing its substantial structure to retain a refined and carefully balanced character.
