Description
Domaine Arlaud Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru comes from Pinot Noir in the commune of Chambolle-Musigny. Planted in 1979, the vineyard has clay-limestone soils dominated by red clay, alongside a smaller component of white clay. Grapes are harvested by hand into small crates, then sorted and transferred by gravity. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in wooden vats with yeasts naturally present on the grapes. Maceration and pressing are handled gently. Maturation in oak barrels is followed by bottling without fining or filtration, completing the estate’s careful approach to this Grand Cru.
