Description

Domaine Arlaud Les Sentiers is a Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru made from Pinot Noir, with vines planted in 1966 on clay-limestone soils. Its name recalls the path along the foot of the slope that linked Dijon with the main Gallo-Roman routes. Hand harvesting into crates and bunch selection precede transfer by gravity. Spontaneous fermentation in open vats uses the grapes’ own yeasts, with gentle extraction and gradual pressing. Maturation takes place in oak barrels, and the wine is subsequently bottled without fining or filtration.
