Domaine Armand Rousseau's Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru comes from two east-facing parcels in Gevrey-Chambertin. The main parcel lies in the upper part of the appellation, on limestone-rich soils, marl and hillside scree. The producer describes the wine's general style through complexity, black fruit, spice, a velvety texture and persistence. Its name recalls the historic vineyard belonging to the monks of Bèze Abbey.
