Description

The Beaune 1er Cru “En Genêt” from Domaine Arnoux Père et Fils is a red Burgundy made from 100% Pinot Noir. Fruit is sourced from south-west facing plots on limestone soils mixed with clay and sand, and the harvest is carried out by hand. Winemaking includes a cold pre-fermentation maceration, roughly twenty days of vatting and about 12 months of oak aging followed by 3–4 months in tank. The wine shows red and black fruit aromas, an elegant structure and a silky mouthfeel.
