Description

Arnoux-Lachaux’s Chambolle-Musigny comes from Pinot Noir grown on stony clay-limestone soils. The cuvée’s vineyard holdings include vines planted in the 1970s and cover close to two hectares. It is a village-level expression of Chambolle from a domaine historically rooted in Vosne-Romanée. Fermentation uses indigenous yeasts and includes a proportion of whole bunches. For the vintages represented here, maturation proceeds from oak barrels to a subsequent blending stage in tank before bottling. The work keeps the geographical origin of the grapes at the centre of the wine’s identity.
