Description

Les Chaumes is one of the Premier Crus through which Arnoux-Lachaux interprets Vosne-Romanée, the village that is home to the family and its domaine. The parcel lies on the southern side of the village, with a clay component distinguishing its soils. Pinot Noir is handled with an emphasis on precision and a clear expression of place. Vinification includes whole bunches, while extraction is adjusted to the grapes. Oak maturation forms part of this cuvée’s historical approach, within a family property founded in 1858 and handed down through successive generations.
