Description

Audiffred’s Vosne-Romanée brings together small parcels within the commune, expressing the village through a classically styled Pinot Noir. Henri Audiffred spent fourteen years working at Domaine de la Romanée-Conti before bringing that experience to his family estate. In the cellar, complete destemming is followed by spontaneous fermentation; ageing favours previously used barrels, and the wine is bottled without filtration. Rose, dark raspberry and sweet spice form its aromatic outline, supported by a silken tannic texture. Precision, fragrance and depth come together in a layered interpretation of Vosne, with the different parcels contributing to a coherent whole.
