Description
Les Noëls de Montbenault 2023 is a white from Anjou made by Domaine Benoît Lalanne, produced from 100% Chenin Blanc grown on the Montbenault slope at Faye‑d'Anjou. Winemaking follows manual harvesting, direct pressing, fermentation on indigenous yeasts and barrel maturation (around 12 months in Burgundian barrels, roughly one third new) followed by time in stainless steel; no sulfur is added. The wine shows ripe white-fruit aromas, autolytic notes and a pronounced mineral-saline drive on the palate, finishing long with a subtle bitter/orange-peel nuance.
