Description

Domaine Bertagna’s Vougeot Village Rouge is a red wine from the Vougeot AOC made entirely from Pinot Noir. The fruit comes from small plots in the commune of Vougeot, close to the Clos de Vougeot, and grapes are hand-harvested. Vinification includes total destemming and temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation, followed by 16–18 months’ ageing in French oak barrels. Aromatic profile typically shows small red berries, humus and liquorice, with balanced structure and fine tannins.
