Description

The Chassagne-Montrachet Village Rouge 2023 from Domaine Bertrand Bachelet is a red wine from the Chassagne-Montrachet appellation in the Côte de Beaune. It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grown on clay-limestone soils with notable iron-rich (Les Lombardes) characteristics and is matured in wood for around twelve months. The bouquet features red fruit and spice notes; on the palate it shows freshness, silky tannins and good persistence. Serve at about 14–16 °C; pairs well with red meat.
