Description
Jérôme Brétaudeau’s Gabbro comes from Melon de Bourgogne grown in Clos des Bouquinardières in the Muscadet area. Its name refers to the clay-rich gabbro soil beneath the vines, a central element in the Gétigné grower’s interpretation of different vineyard origins. Organic farming and a subsequent biodynamic approach accompany close attention to these sites. The wine matures on lees in underground tanks, developing its expression without relying on an oak signature. This cuvée connects the Pays Nantais grape variety with a particular geological foundation and the time devoted to maturation on its lees.
