Description

The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin from Domaine Chanson is a red village wine from the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation in the Côte de Nuits produced by Maison Chanson. It is made from Pinot Noir sourced from a selected hillside parcel on calcareous, marl and gravel soils; the 2023 cuvée is reported to have been aged about 17 months in oak. On the palate it offers solid structure and present tannins, with dark fruit and undergrowth notes; it pairs well with roasted meats and mature cheeses.
