Coche-Dury’s Bourgogne Aligoté offers another perspective on a family deeply connected with Meursault. Aligoté takes its place alongside the estate’s celebrated Chardonnays, within a range where family tradition matters as much as the appellation name. The domaine developed through the gradual consolidation of small vineyards and carries the surnames of Jean-François Coche and his wife Odile Dury. This cuvée foregrounds a historic Burgundian grape variety in a particularly limited production. It is a white wine that opens a different route into the house’s heritage beyond its better-known village bottlings.
