Les Enseignères brings Coche-Dury’s interpretation to Puligny-Montrachet through a small Chardonnay parcel on clay-limestone soils. Its old-vine heritage includes plantings from the first half of the twentieth century, an important part of the vineyard’s identity. The family maintains a traditional approach: constant attention to growing, patient vinification and extended contact with the lees. The wine matures in barrel and is bottled without filtration. Freshness and tension are sought alongside substance, giving this cuvée a distinctive place within the patchwork of small vineyard holdings cultivated by the domaine.
