The 2017 Diplomate d'Empire from Domaine Comte Abbatucci is a white Vin de France produced in the Taravo Valley of Corsica. It is a blend of Corsican indigenous varieties: Vermentino, Brustiano, Bianco Gentile, Genovese and Rossola Bianca. Vinification includes direct pressing, fermentation and ageing in half-muids on the lees for about nine months, followed by further time in stainless steel after blending. The wine is shaped by the estate's granite soils and Mediterranean climate, offering balanced structure and notable freshness.
