Description
Musigny Blanc is the rare Chardonnay expression grown by Comte Georges de Vogüé on the upper slope of Chambolle-Musigny's celebrated Grand Cru. Following replanting in the 1980s and 1990s, the domaine chose to release the wine as Bourgogne Blanc until the vines had matured sufficiently; the Musigny Blanc name returned with the 2015 vintage. Harvesting is manual, fermentation uses indigenous yeasts in oak, and barrel maturation proceeds without bâtonnage. This cuvée preserves a distinctive Côte de Nuits tradition and offers a way to discover Musigny through its exceptional white-wine expression.
