Description
Musigny Cuvée Vieilles Vignes holds a central place in the heritage of Comte Georges de Vogüé. The domaine owns Les Petits Musignys and a substantial part of Le Musigny, where Pinot Noir grows in red clay above Bathonian and Comblanchien limestone formations. The selection of old vines expresses the estate's historical connection with this Chambolle-Musigny Grand Cru. Vinification includes destemming and cold maceration, followed by maturation in oak. Its identity arises from the continuity between extensive vineyard holdings, careful selection of fruit and the precision of the work carried out in the cellar.
