Description

Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair’s 2022 Echézeaux belongs to a vintage that enlarged the estate’s holdings with additional parcels from Domaine Lamarche. New components within this grand cru of Flagey-Echézeaux joined the historic Pinot Noir core, which includes Cruots or Vignes Blanches and Champs Traversins. Vinification preserves an emphasis on berry integrity, with careful sorting, spontaneous fermentation and whole-cluster use adapted to the wine. Maturation takes place in oak, followed by bottling without fining or filtration. This cuvée combines the continuity of Louis-Michel Liger-Belair’s approach with a new chapter in the history of the property.
