Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair’s Vosne-Romanée combines Pinot Noir from several lieux-dits, drawing on the north-eastern and south-eastern parts of the commune as well as vineyards on its western hillside. These origins bring clay-rich ground together with sectors containing abundant limestone gravel and scree. Cellar work is attentive to berry integrity, with hand harvesting, sorting, fermentation using indigenous yeasts and movement by gravity. Following oak maturation, the wine is bottled without fining or filtration. The blend therefore offers a broad view of the village, complementing the estate’s individual parcel bottlings through the meeting of different sites.
