Édouard Confuron's Les Hautes Maizières comes from old vines below Les Suchots and Échézeaux, beside Clos de Vougeot. The position places this village-level Vosne-Romanée among celebrated vineyard neighbours while retaining its own classification. This Pinot Noir belongs to Édouard's personal project, launched in 2021 after his experience at the family domaine, Confuron-Gindre. His approach seeks finesse and a clear expression of place, with greater use of whole bunches and sulphur additions postponed until the end of vinification. It offers a personal interpretation of Vosne's traditions, shaped by family knowledge and a distinct direction in the cellar.
