Description

Confuron-Gindre's Vosne-Romanée is blended from ten parcels close to the village, including Les Hautes Maizières, Les Communes and Les Prés de la Folie. Together they cover a little more than two hectares, with each vineyard contributing its own identity. Mature vines allow the cuvée to bring together different expressions of Vosne's landscape. Maturation takes place in oak barrels for around eighteen months, with the proportion of new wood adjusted to the vintage. The wine therefore offers a collective interpretation of the village, built from complementary parcels rather than a single named vineyard.
