Description
Le Champ des Loups 2023 from Domaine de L'Apollin is a dry white wine from southwest France, vinified from Gros Manseng (about 70%) and Petit Manseng (about 30%) from vineyards near Monein in the Jurançon area. Aromas of white-fleshed fruit and mineral tones are complemented by a slight oxidative edge and concentrated dry extract. The wine is aged roughly ten months in barrels with little or no new oak and is produced without fining or filtration. On the palate it displays bright tension, an elegant structure and a saline, persistent finish.
