The 2011 Clos de l'Arlot from Domaine de l'Arlot is a Nuits‑Saint‑Georges 1er Cru monopole made predominantly from Chardonnay with a small portion of Pinot Gris. The fruit comes from the steep, very stony parcels of the Clos, which are rugged and rocky. Aromas include white flowers, exotic fruit, honey and vanilla, while the palate combines generosity and freshness with a mineral finish. The wine is presented in a reserved, elegant style typical of the domaine.
