Description

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti’s Corton-Charlemagne comes from four parcels in the Le Charlemagne site at Aloxe-Corton and En Charlemagne at Pernand-Vergelesses. The vines occupy different positions on the hill: the summit, the foot and the middle of the slope. This arrangement brings together several expressions of Chardonnay within a single Grand Cru. First produced by the domaine with the 2019 harvest, the wine has a fresh, precise character. Its profile suggests citrus and green apple, while acidity and a mineral component accompany the substance of the fruit.
