La Tâche is Domaine de la Romanée-Conti’s Grand Cru monopole extending over just more than six hectares in the Côte de Nuits. Made from Pinot Noir, it expresses a balance between vigour and refinement: the tannic framework can be firm, accompanied by a velvety texture and marked aromatic intensity. The profile suggests dark fruit, violet and spice, with richness supported by structure.
