Description

Domaine de la Vougeraie Bourgogne Chardonnay Terres de Famille comes mainly from the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits. In this plateau landscape, broad, curving vine rows are exposed to the winds, which form part of the setting for organic cultivation. The cuvée may also include wines declassified from village appellations. Its Chardonnay expresses a fruity, mineral character, with fresh pear notes and a clearly present natural acidity. Time in large barrels accompanies a smooth texture without obscuring the precision of the fruit expression.
