Description

Domaine de Villaine's Rully Premier Cru Cloux Rouge comes from a steep east- and southeast-facing slope below the Raclot and Rabourcé climats. In youth, the cuvée shows intense fruit and an airy impression; bottle age softens its structure and develops subtler, more complex aromatic nuances. Serving temperature can follow this development, moving from around 16 degrees for young bottles to 18 for mature examples. At the table, it accompanies feathered game, red meats and cheeses such as Reblochon and Cantal, across different stages of its evolution.
