Description

Bizot's Vosne-Romanée brings together four parcels: Les Communes, Les Jardins, Les Colombières and Les Saules. Pinot Noir vines of different planting dates grow on clay-limestone soils, offering a composite reading of the village appellation. The producer harvests by hand and ferments whole bunches without sulfur additions during vinification. Oak maturation is followed by manual bottling, carried out separately for each barrel and identified on the label. The cuvée reflects Jean-Yves Bizot's rigorous approach: small volumes, attention to the vines and an expression directed towards purity, finesse and the capacity to gain depth over time.
