Description

Jobard-Morey's Meursault comes from the Les Pelles lieu-dit, where Chardonnay grows on relatively deep ground containing gravel. Mature vines form the basis of this village cuvée, fermented in barrels and raised in oak with a restrained proportion of new wood. The family favours separate vinification of its parcels to preserve their differences. Founded in 1949 through the union of the Jobard and Morey holdings, the domaine maintains a tangible link between family history and individual origin, accompanying the wine with gentle pressing and time on fine lees.
