Description

Jobard-Morey's Les Charmes comes from the Charmes Dessus sector, between Genevrières, Perrières Dessous and Puligny-Montrachet's Les Combettes. The clay-limestone soil contains numerous surface stones and supports old Chardonnay vines. The wine ferments in barrels and matures in oak, with moderate use of new wood. This cuvée follows the domaine's decision to vinify Meursault terroirs separately. Attention to individual parcels goes hand in hand with preserving the family's massal selections, a living vine heritage passed down and maintained through the daily work carried out in the vineyards.
