Jobard-Morey's Les Tillets is a Chardonnay from old, southeast-facing vines on shallow, stony ground. Fermentation takes place in barrels, followed by oak maturation with a restrained proportion of new wood. The cuvée is kept separate from the domaine's other Meursault origins, following the family's parcel-focused philosophy. The estate preserves a heritage of massal selections and places strong emphasis on grape quality. This bottle therefore reflects a particular combination of soil and exposure, accompanied by cellar work that seeks balance and a clear expression of its vineyard setting.
