Description

The Domaine Labet Savagnin Charrière Maceration 2022 is a skin-contact white from the Sur Charrière lieu-dit in Rotalier, Jura. It is made mainly from Savagnin with a portion of Chardonnay and shows the structure and textured mouthfeel typical of orange wines. The wine is fermented with maceration on the skins and aged in amphorae and large inert vessels with an ouillé-style topping-up before bottling. It presents an expression of Savagnin’s terroir distinct from the Jura’s traditional oxidative styles.
