Description

La Grande Rue is the monopole that gives the Lamarche family a particularly close connection to Vosne-Romanée. Acquired by the family in 1933, it received official Grand Cru recognition in 1992. Nicole Lamarche has directed winemaking since 2006, approaching this red through meticulous vineyard work and organic cultivation adopted in 2010. An initial cold maceration precedes a fermentation and skin-contact period adjusted to the harvest, followed by maturation in French oak. Bottling without fining or filtration completes an approach intended to preserve structure, territorial identity and the capacity for development.
