The 1989 from Domaine Leroy is a Volnay Premier Cru from the Santenots climat in the Côte de Beaune (Bourgogne). It is made from Pinot Noir and reflects the terroir character of this well-known Volnay cru. Some bottles of this vintage were released under the négociant/’Maison Leroy’ label while showing the Santenots origin.
