Description

Les Rocoules is the white Hermitage through which Domaine Marc Sorrel highlights one of its historic sites on the hill. Marsanne leads the blend alongside Roussanne, on soils combining clay, limestone and stones of glacial origin. A southern exposure and old-vine heritage define the origin of this selection. Fermentation and maturation take place in wood, with part of the ageing spent on fine lees. The importer describes a broad, rounded wine with peach and honey notes. It expresses the richness of Hermitage through a precise sense of place and the continuity of the family’s work.
