Description
The Cuvée Marguerite 2024 from Domaine Matassa is a Vin de France produced in the Roussillon by Tom Lubbe. It is a skin-contact white made mainly from Muscat of Alexandria, with Macabeo and Muscat à Petit Grains; the wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts, minimally handled and bottled unfiltered. On the palate it shows pronounced fruit and floral aromas, lively acidity and a mineral tension characteristic of the local vineyards. Best served chilled, it presents an immediate yet layered profile common to natural Roussillon whites.
