Description

Naudin-Ferrand's 2022 Viola Odorata comes from old Pinot Noir vines in five Corgoloin lieux-dits, on east-facing clay-limestone slopes. Hand harvesting and rigorous sorting precede whole-bunch vinification, without sulphur added when the grapes enter the vat. After gentle pressing, the wine moves by gravity into barrels and matures on its lees. The vintage's profile combines crisp cherry, floral impressions and a subtle coriander note. The palate is fresh and fleshy, with well-integrated tannins and a texture that brings richness and elegance together in this Côte de Nuits-Villages cuvée.
