Description
Naudin-Ferrand's Echézeaux Grand Cru comes from Les Rouges du Bas, in the heart of the appellation. The parcel has a pronounced slope and soils of varying depth above a layer of pink limestone. Carefully sorted Pinot Noir grapes are vinified as whole bunches, with indigenous yeasts and limited extraction. Low-pressure pressing precedes transfer by gravity into oak barrels. The wine matures on its lees and is bottled without filtration. This approach maintains a clear connection between the individual vineyard origin and the sequence of work carried out in the cellar.
